Get into your Stride – Free Walk Training!

In preparation for the fifth T100 walking, talking and making festival in July, we are working with Simply Stride who offer walk training.

Simply Stride is a wellbeing-through-walking company which employs yoga, pilates and mindfulness techniques in the every day act of walking to maximise the benefits of this simple activity. It offers training in a low impact walking technique, focusing on posture and walking tall. It includes balancing, strengthening and breathing techniques and helps develops stamina.

Kinetika’s T100 walk leaders are undertaking four training sessions with the company to ensure they get the most from this year’s festival and you can join in too.

T100 is now in its fifth year and will follow the estuary from Purfleet down to Shoeburyness and expand further into Kent. The walks will range from moderate to long distance in some cases and will run for 15 consecutive days in July. Simply Stride is running four walk leader sessions for Kinetika and T100 and is able to make some limited spaces available to people outside the organisation.

The free sessions began on Tuesday 30 April and continue on 7, 14 and 21 May at 5pm, meeting at Grays Riverside Beach Cafe.
