Plans for the start of the Thurrock 100 walking challenge moved on apace last week when Mayor of Thurrock, Cllr Sue Gray, met representatives from HW Wilson & Co..
The South Ockendon-based builders are supporting the event by providing drinks and fruit for the walkers, as well as encouraging their staff to take part.
The mayor thanked Peter Wiffen from H W Wilson for always stepping up to the plate in the community and showing their support.
