Book Workshops for 2019!
Workshops for T100 2019 – Welcome to the Kitchen Table!
We are teaming up with Kinetika and Create98 to offer exclusive workshops for 2019’s T100 walking festival – ‘Welcome to the Kitchen Table.’
The programme is building on last year’s very successful T100 Recipes and invites people to share personal stories, recollections and recipes connected with food and join a series of walks around and along the estuary in Essex and Kent.
The workshops take place at Kinetika’s studio in Purfleet, in Gravesend and at Create 98 in Leigh. Write and draw your recipes, print them onto tablecloths, napkins and tea towels. You can also learn how to make your own sketchbook, or join an art-journaling and photography workshop!
Workshops are aimed at adults, although children could come accompanied by an adult.
All workshops are FREE!

This free creative workshop, led by four Kinetika artists will show you how to make your own sketchbook and to pick up some skills and techniques to capture a sense of place through art journaling, photography and writing.
During the walks we will be fully equipped with a portable printer enabling you to include your newly captured photos in your journal, along with sketches and writing. En route we will share journal pages online and then compile them in to an online book to share back to estuary communities.
